Number of Direct Reports (Solid Line) : 0 Number of Direct Reports (Dotted Line) :0 Number of Outsourced Reports : 0 Purpose of the Job :To ensure continuous running of equipment and machinery. Maintenance engineers work with other professionals in order to improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdown and develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes. Major Responsibilities : Coordinates with other departments (Production,technical,QA,PPC and Safety) to maximize operational efficiency. Oversees, directs and prioritizes the job and allocate the manpower accordingly. Assists, advises, and responds to questions and directs all person (Mechanic,NAPS and contract person) in shift to maximize their efficiency. Fine out the abnormality of the machines and correct the same. Communicates safety issues between departments on shift and verifies proper action for safety issues on shift. Assists, advises and directs Section Managers with any employee relation issue. Recommend improvements/modifications in procedures, methods, machines to improve the productivity. Issues daily shift report to section in charge in the areas of safety, quality and maintenance Spare management for the maintenance activities Skills : Trouble shootings Problem solving Decision making skills Functional and technical skills Leadership On the job training skills Relevant Experience : 3-5 YEARS Education Qualification(s) : BTECH MECH
