Analyst Benefits Operations
The Analyst – Benefits Operations & Financial Analytics plays a critical role in the Consumer Propositions team by driving data-driven insights and operational excellence across our cardholder benefit programs. This role’s primary purpose is to drive the end-to-end cost and performance reporting for all benefit categories – including lounge, concierge, insurance, dining, and any new benefits. The role will also support lounge benefit vendor management (ensuring high service standards and implementing improvements). By partnering closely with Finance and other cross-functional teams, this analyst will ensure that our benefits are delivered efficiently, measured rigorously, and aligned with Visa’s consumer value proposition (CVP) objectives and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Benefit Invoicing & Reconciliation: Support cost and billing across regional consumer benefits. Validate and reconcile vendor invoices and maintain clear records of benefit costs. Work closely with Finance to integrate benefit costs into budgeting and P&L processes, supporting cost-to-value alignment analyses for each benefit category.
- Data Reporting & Performance Analytics: Develop and maintain robust reporting dashboards and monthly/quarterly performance reports that track key metrics for each benefit (usage rates, customer satisfaction, costs, and ROI). Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variances, and insights, ensuring data is organized logically and accurately for decision-making. Proactively communicate findings and business implications to leadership, enabling informed adjustments to benefit strategy and design.
- Lounge Benefit Vendor Management: Oversee the day-to-day vendor relationship for lounge benefits, monitoring service delivery and addressing any operational issues or required adjustments to maintain the highest operational and service standards in line with Visa’s brand promise. Implement enhancements to the lounge program based on consumer feedback and performance data to continuously improve the cardholder experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Sourcing, Product, Operations, and Technology) to align on benefit performance goals, data requirements, and process improvements. Assist in establishing KPIs and measurement frameworks to track benefit performance and value delivery as part of the overall CVP performance tracking strategy. Participate in ongoing benefit review cycles to recommend data-driven enhancements or efficiency opportunities in how benefits are delivered and measured.
- Process Improvement & Governance: Identify and implement opportunities to improve benefit-related financial processes and tools. This includes optimizing financial models, templates, and billing systems for greater efficiency and accuracy, and driving standardization in reporting methods across different benefit programs. Ensure strong governance by maintaining updated process documentation and compliance with audit standards for benefit operations.
