Responsible for leading and coordinating all finance and treasury activities at HUGO BOSS do Brasil. This role oversees accounts payable and receivable, manages banking relationships and reconciliations, and ensures effective control and monitoring of credit card acquirers and related financial processes, safeguarding accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
What you can expect:
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow (actual and forecast), preparing revenue and expense projections to support financial analysis and decision-making.
- Monitor and control bank statements, ensuring timely reconciliations and the accuracy of all bank-related transactions.
- Coordinate daily payment analysis and approvals, ensuring compliance with internal policies and cash availability.
- Oversee relationships with banks and financial institutions, supporting negotiations and maintaining appropriate service levels.
- Review and validate foreign exchange (FX) closings, ensuring correct accounting treatment and documentation.
- Review accounting entries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and local regulations.
- Manage the accounting and reconciliation of credit card fees and acquirer settlements.
- Ensure accuracy on accounts receivable and payables in accordance with the bank statements as well as credit card acquirer statements
- Ensure accurate accounting for rental expenses in line with contracts and corporate guidelines.
- Review accounting entries related to fixed funds and petty cash, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
- Manage and monitor cash collections at stores, guaranteeing correct booking and safe transfer of funds.
- Review accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection, proper allocation, and follow-up on overdue balances.
- Prepare and review the Daily Sales Report, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with accounting records.
- Prepare and submit finance and treasury reports to the Head of Finance & Administration and intercompany counterparts, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Provide day-to-day support to Accounting, Controlling, and Tax departments with data, analyses, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to HUGO BOSS policies, internal controls, and local regulatory requirements across all finance and treasury processes.
- Manage and maintain HUGO BOSS car insurance policies, including renewals, documentation, and coordination with brokers/insurers.
- Lead, manage, and develop the Finance team, promoting high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to support business objectives and efficient financial operations.
- Train store and office teams on finance and treasury procedures, including periodic refreshers (“recycling”) to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Responsible for managing audit requests and providing the required documentation
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Admin, Finance or Accounting
- MBA preferred | CPA a plus
- 10 years of experience (minimum)
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience
- SAP experience mandatory (R3 or S/4)
- Advanced in spoken and written English
- Organization and ability to facilitate multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong leadership, professional, oral and written communication skills
- Must have an ability to plan and manage both the strategic and operational functions of the business
- Flexible, used to dealing with multiple deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result driven, team oriented environment
