Company Introduction:

 Gazelle Wind Power is an innovative offshore engineering company developing next-generation floating wind platforms designed to accelerate the global energy transition.

Overview:

The Structural Engineer supports structural analysis and design activities for Gazelle’s support structures, ensuring technical soundness, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in structural design and analysis, ideally in offshore or marine environments.

  • Proficiency in FEA tools such as STAAD Pro, SACS, or ANSYS.

  • Familiarity with international design codes (ISO 19902, DNVGL-ST-0126).

  • Knowledge of FEMAP or SESAM and programming in Python or MATLAB.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and collaborative mindset.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork.

  • Innovative, detail-oriented, and proactive.

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.

  • Able to manage project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structural design and analysis for wind turbine support structures.

  • Develop engineering calculations and detailed designs.

  • Perform FEA and other advanced analyses to ensure performance.

  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and naval teams.

  • Review drawings and deliverables for compliance and quality.

  • Support client and regulatory interfaces.

  • Contribute to process and technology improvements.
