To be hired as a Skilled Fitter within our factory in Broughton, you must submit your application through our contingent work partner, Guidant, on their website. There are opportunities to work day and night shifts, both shifts with competitive rates of pay.

To apply at the skilled level, you must have gone through:

• a Full Apprenticeship in Aerospace or relevant discipline;
• previous experience in a similar role such as Sheet Metal Worker, Metal Fabricator, Welder, Mechanical Fitter or as a HVAC Technician;
• You must also hold one of the following qualifications:
  • an Indenture and City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC ONC or Modern Apprenticeship Certificate, NVQ Level 2, 3, Key Skills level 2 and City & Guilds Level 2/BTEC ONC in a recognised field.

You’ll also need a good level of physical fitness, an awareness of Health, Safety, and Human Factors, and good communication skills.
