Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams and external partners to develop AI software solutions leveraging Intel products.
  • Research technical trends and utilize domain expertise to prototype innovative AI solutions.
  • Optimize AI model performance through expertise in frameworks, algorithms, and hardware.
  • Research, develop, and adjust AI models, code, and parameters to enhance performance and address technical challenges.
  • Partner with AI algorithm and framework engineers to optimize end-to-end AI models for Intel hardware features.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, providing technical enabling and consultation.
  • Work with product development teams to accelerate and optimize future products by leading application pre-enabling tasks and product hardening.
  • Deliver competitive and differentiated benchmarks and identify key workloads to be integrated into product requirements.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in AI, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years with Bachelor's degree, 3+ years with a Master's degree, 1+ with PhD.
  • Proficiency in Python, including advanced experience with PyTorch, OOP.
  • Advanced knowledge in AI inference and hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs).
  • Demonstrated ability to design highly optimized software and algorithms.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with proactive approach.
  • Experience working in Linux environments from a user perspective.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work globally across diverse groups and stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Profiling ability and performance optimizations focus is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of software engineering practices, open-source programming experience is a plus.
  • Experience with GPU programming and performance optimizations.
  • Understanding of AI neural network, parallel and distributed programming concepts.
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box in solving technical challenges.

The Software Team drives customer value by enabling differentiated experiences through leadership AI technologies and foundational software stacks, products, and services. The group is responsible for developing the holistic strategy for client and data center software in collaboration with OSVs, ISVs, developers, partners and OEMs. The group delivers specialized NPU IP to enable the AI PC and GPU IP to support all of Intel's market segments. The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
