The Role and ImpactJoin Intel's journey of innovation as an AI Software Engineering Graduate Intern. In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of AI workload solutions spanning algorithms, AI software frameworks, system software, and infrastructure.
You will work on reproducing real world AI inference workloads, building workload profiles, identifying system bottlenecks, and performing performance analysis. Your insights will directly support hardware/software co design for next generation AI SoC products.
As an intern, you will learn and apply technical knowledge, build practical skills, and explore future career opportunities through hands on projects aligned with Intel's business goals, in a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate on profiling and optimizing AI algorithms, frameworks, and software architectures for performance and accuracy.
• Reproduce real world production AI inference workloads and build representative workload profiles.
• Identify system bottlenecks and conduct performance analysis across software and hardware stacks.
• Translate workload insights to support hardware/software co design efforts.
• Assist in applied research and HW/SW integration for AI systems.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Understanding of AI fundamentals, including algorithms and models and agentic AI workload development.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with computer architecture concepts, performance analysis and profiling.
