Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week, between Monday-Friday
Shifts: Between 0800-2000

We're looking for a Advanced Hand Therapist to join the outpatient Therapies team at HCA UK at The Shard, currently rated "outstanding" by the CQC.
London Bridge Hospital has a central campus of which The Shard Outpatients is the largest of our outpatient centres. Within this centre of diagnosis and treatment we cover a wide range of specialties including Neurology, gynaecology, orthopaedics and pain management, physiotherapy and more.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Hand Therapist to join our dynamic outpatient physiotherapy team. Working within a team of 11 therapists, you will deliver expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients with complex hand and upper limb conditions. The successful postholder will work as a skilled member of the outpatient physiotherapy team, which is a large team of 11 therapists.
The Advanced Hand Therapist will be a key member of a large and supportive outpatient physiotherapy team, delivering expert care to patients with complex hand and upper limb conditions. The postholder will independently manage a specialised caseload, providing high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role involves mentoring and supervising junior staff, contributing to in-service education, and leading service development and promotional activities. The successful candidate will also play a vital role in shaping and expanding the hand therapy service, using their specialist knowledge to support business growth and ensure excellence in patient care.

What you’ll bring:
Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
HCPC registered
Relevant postgraduate training or completing specialist master's level modules/qualification (BAHT accreditation or equivalent)
Demonstratable specialist clinical experience as a Hand Therapist
Prior experience with Thermal plastic splints and wound management
Experience in assessing clinical competency
