Job Description

The Georgia Pricing Director for the Individual and Small Group business segments will identify, evaluate and respond to financial risks inherent in the pricing and development of health insurance products.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Develops and implements business strategies with the local business unit

Prepares rate developments and filings

Collaborates with Finance Lead, Cost of Care Lead, and Valuation Lead to monitor financials and profitability by line of business

Prepares and interprets various data analyses and related formulae

Serves on major, multi-function projects as Actuarial representative

Organizes and directs the staffing and work flow of the pricing associates supporting Georgia

Qualifications

Requires a BS/BA degree; FSA required from the Society of Actuaries (SOA); at least 6 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
