Accounts Receivable Analyst
The Accounts Receivable Analyst role is primarily responsible for Collections within the Account Receivable department, including manual/custom Invoicing, reconciling outstanding account balances, and preparation of periodic reports on accounts receivable and past due status.
Requirements
- Manage an active customer portfolio of accounts
- Contact clients with past due balances to obtain payment, payment commitment, and follow up on payment promises
- Meet or exceed targeted collections metrics
- Accountable for reporting any disputed/short paid invoices
- Escalate major collection issues with Management
- Assist the cash applications department with resolving payment application discrepancies
- Support and develop accounts receivable lean process improvements
- Prepare proposals for agency placement and write off to bad debt
