This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting and finance within the aviation industry. The intern will support various accounting functions and contribute to the overall financial operations of the organization.
Major Job Accountabilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
- Support the accounts receivable processes, including invoice raising and payment tracking.
- Help with account reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
- Participate in revenue closing activities.
- Assist in conducting audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
- Engage in team meetings and contribute ideas for optimizing financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and apply accounting concepts in a practical setting.
