We are looking for a Accounting and Reporting Specialist to join the Finance team at our headquarters in Madrid. Below, you’ll find all the details about the role:

Your mission; you will ensure impeccable accounting management and accurate financial reporting. You will be responsible for the correct recording of all company transactions in accordance with local regulations (PGC) and international standards (IFRS). Working closely with internal teams, the Global Service Center, Business Units, Logistic Platforms, and Headquarters, you will help drive more efficient, robust, and sustainable accounting processes.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Record and review General Ledger entries in compliance with PGC and IFRS for Business Units, Logistic Platforms, and the Service Center, in coordination with Global Service Center teams in Poland and India.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
  • Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of expense accounts and balance sheet accounts, ensuring the integrity of financial information.
  • Prepare financial reports for Headquarters and carry out Intercompany balance reconciliations.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance accounting, reporting, and financial processes across the organization.

At the organizational level:

  • You will report directly to the Accounting Lead.
  • You will not be in charge of a team.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting, financial closing, and reconciliations in multinational environments.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of PGC, IFRS, and corporate reporting standards.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Languages: High level of English (essential).
  • Core Competencies: Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, organizational capabilities, teamwork, and a proactive mindset focused on improving processes.
