Accountant
To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant who wants to help build a strong financial foundation to support our international growth.
As an Accountant, you play a key role in ensuring the financial health and transparency of our organization. You work with a high degree of autonomy, take ownership, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes. You work in close collaboration with the Head of Group Finance & Administration.
Your main scope of Responsibilities:
Post and process journal entries (sales invoices, purchase invoices, bank statements, expense accounts, deferred and accrued charges…) to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and prepare payments
Prepare sales invoices and ensure timely payment
Processing of monthly balance sheets, income statements, yearly statutory accounts and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly closing
Prepare monthly group consolidation focusing on eliminating inter-company transactions, in collaboration with the Head of Group Finance & Administration
Requirements
YOUR PROFILE
Master's or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or relevant domain
Proven experience as accountant
Proficient in Dutch
Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail
Proficient understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
Excellent Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems, knowledge of Odoo is a strong asset
Able to work independently while being a committed team player
Open-minded, self-aware, with strong interpersonal competencies
