Account Manager – SRD / RBD

Responsibilities:
- Sales and promotion of Parallel Flange, Merchant, Rebar, Rail, and Semi-Finished products.
- Regularly visit current and potential customers and attend various steel-related meetings, conferences, and tours.
- Understand and monitor the competitive environment and provide market intelligence to the sales team to help shape sales strategies.
- Assist with business development by identifying new customers, products, and markets
- Work effectively with SDI Operations, Sales, Technical Service, Transportation, and Product Development to improve customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer inquiries effectively and promptly.
- Prepare and monitor monthly sales and shipments forecast by customer.
- Develop ways to maximize revenue and margins.
- 2 Years of successful Sales or Customer Service experience within SRD and RBD.
- Proven leadership, verbal & written communications, and presentation skills.
- Strong people skills and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic. Self-starter. Positive outlook. Team Player.
- Travel is required.
- A 4-Year College degree in an applicable discipline
