Reporting to the Account Supervisor, as an Account Executive, you will support a team of highly motivated individuals in the coordination, execution, and strategic development focused on local sports and entertainment partnerships. These partnerships could include team, league, facility, and venue properties across the sports and entertainment space. In your partnership role, you will have an active role in client communications and help manage a roster of sports properties, coordinate activations and creative strategies, and oversee sponsorship programs to help brands connect with passionate sports audiences.

To thrive in this role, you take ownership of projects while often managing multiple at a time. You'll also pride yourself on your teamwork mentality and effective communication with internal GMR teams and various client stakeholders.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Client & Account Management You'll develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, becoming their trusted partner. You'll manage multiple client contacts and projects at once, keeping everyone aligned, informed, and impressed. You'll lead propertyreviews and year-end evaluations, telling compelling stories about partnership ROI and uncovering new growth opportunities that excite your clients.
  • Property Management. You'll be on the hunt for new local sports and entertainment properties that fit our portfolio and excite our clients. You'llsupport pitching these opportunities with confidence, negotiate smart deals, and conduct valuations that create win-win scenarios. From the first conversation to contract closure, you'll own the full-service partnership strategy and make sure every detail is handled. You'll serve as the bridge between properties, clients, and legal teams, ensuring smooth execution and strong relationships throughout. You'll also identify renewal and expansion opportunities that keep accounts growing and thriving.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Activations You'll develop strategic recommendations backed by data and insights that align with what your clients actually need.You'll work hand-in-hand with GMR's Engagement team to bring bold creative activations and social media strategies to life. You'll coordinate with theclient’sRewards team to design inventory packages that deliver real fan engagement and drive program success. You'll tap into GMR's expert teams, from gaming and NASCAR to NBA/WNBA and Olympics, to expand what you can offer and deepen client partnerships. You'll stay ahead of the curve by monitoring competitive sponsorship activity and industry trends, ensuring your clients always know what's next.
  • Measurement & Reporting You'll lead partnership recaps and performance evaluations, translating data into clear stories about what's working and what to do next. You'll work with third-party measurement partners to quantify ROI and refine strategies based on real. Your insights will drive the monthly sponsorship reports and help shape the conversation about partnership performance and opportunity.
  • Travel. You'll travel a few times per year to meet with properties and clients face-to-face, strengthening relationships on the ground and staying connected to the action.

The annual range for this role varies between $50,000 - $60,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience.
