The Tribe Data is responsible for a system landscape of central components of the fixed and mobile network, which encompasses a wide range of different systems and platforms.

The T-DAT SDM Lifecycle Squad is responsible for the planning and operation of the central network databases (CNTDB) for all access networks (mobile, fixed-line, M2M), as well as HLR/HSS throughout their entire lifecycle, along with 5GC-relevant systems such as UDM & AUSF. This includes ensuring the stable operation of the SDM platform, as well as the deployment and piloting of the systems in a cloud environment.

As part of this job posting, one Solution Designer is being sought for the SDM LifecycleSquad.
Tasks

· End-to-end operation of the frontend systems in the 5G Core domain (UDM, AMF, SMF, NRF) as well as the 4G Core (HSS and DRA) in a cloud environment

· Monitoring of frontend systems in the 5G/4G Core domain with Kibana and Grafana

· Incident resolution and support for problem management

· Checking the cloud cluster status using kubectl and k9s

· Adjusting configurations using GitOps, including change management

· Protocol-level tracing using NetScout and Wireshark

Tools and Platforms

CNTDB, UDM+AUSF (AMF, SMF, NRF)   Kubernetes based   Cloudkubectl, k9s, Kibana, Grafana, GitOps, Netscout and Wireshark

Must have skills

· In-depth knowledge and experience in the area of 5G Core (UDM, AMF, SMF, NRF)

· Confident use of tools such as kubectl, k9s, Kibana, Grafana, GitOps, Netscout and Wireshark

· Experience in YAML and JSON is an advantage· experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation

Basic willingness to take on on-call duty after thorough training

Nice to have skills
• Basic knowledge of 4G Core (HSS, DRA)
