ARSIEM is looking for a Systems Engineer 2 to provide hands-on Architecture, Systems Integration and systems administration. This position will support one of our government clients in Laurel, MD.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on Architecture, Systems Integration and systems administration in support of JCMA activities.
  • Integrate RF communication systems to enable the monitoring for COMSEC vulnerabilities.
  • Work closely with mission operators and developers to provide innovative solutions to difficult problems.
  • Perform a variety of systems engineering tasks centered on technical problem solving, requirements specification, process development, risk analysis, and solutions design to advance cybersecurity mission success.
  • Assist with the installation of RF equipment, servers, and networking equipment to include managing data center requirements
  • Support data path engineering efforts.
  • Identify new and existing products, technologies, and/or architectures to solve design, development, and operational problems.
  • Some travel within the United States will be required to support equipment delivery and installation requirements.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • A Doctoral degree and no experience,
  • A Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or
  • A Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or
  • An Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or
  • A High School diploma/GED plus 9 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
