Job Summary: The 3rd Grade Teacher at St. Peter Claver Catholic School is responsible for creating an engaging, faith-centered learning environment that lays the foundation for students' academic, spiritual, and social development. Create and deliver engaging, faith-integrated lessons that support both academic excellence and Catholic values while meeting state educational standards and diocesan curriculum requirements
Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and helps young learners develop foundational academic, social, and spiritual skills
Partner with families through regular communication, conferences, and updates to support student growth and build a strong school-home connection
Assess and document student progress through developmentally appropriate methods, adjusting instruction to meet individual learning needs
Plan and lead daily prayer, religious activities, and faith-based discussions that help students understand and embrace Catholic teachings in age-appropriate ways

Salary Range: $38,000 - $78,000 annually Starting salary is determined by the candidate's teaching experience and education level Ascension Catholic Academy follows a structured step-and-lane salary schedule similar to public school.
