Job Summary: The 3rd Grade Teacher at St. Peter Claver Catholic School is responsible for creating an engaging, faith-centered learning environment that lays the foundation for students' academic, spiritual, and social development.   • Create and deliver engaging, faith-integrated lessons that support both academic excellence and Catholic values while meeting state educational standards and diocesan curriculum requirements
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and helps young learners develop foundational academic, social, and spiritual skills
  • Partner with families through regular communication, conferences, and updates to support student growth and build a strong school-home connection
  • Assess and document student progress through developmentally appropriate methods, adjusting instruction to meet individual learning needs
  • Plan and lead daily prayer, religious activities, and faith-based discussions that help students understand and embrace Catholic teachings in age-appropriate ways

Salary Range: $38,000 - $78,000 annually Starting salary is determined by the candidate's teaching experience and education level Ascension Catholic Academy follows a structured step-and-lane salary schedule similar to public school.
