As our Patient Access Supervisor, you will help the Registration Department manage operational functions while maintaining customer and patient focus. You will oversee three facilities. Every day you will coordinate processes and procedures to ensure efficient patient processing. In addition, having client executive presence and cross functional operational strategy with an emphasis on process improvement and quality enhancement. To thrive as a Patient Access Supervisor, you’ll be providing exceptional leadership experience in a supervisory role. You will have a broad understanding of daily Patient Access functions and operations. 

**This is an ONSITE position located in Manhattan, KS at Ascension Via Christi Hospital**

Here's what to expect as a Patient Access Supervisor: 

  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of daily registrations, including insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
    •Provide high-quality service to patients and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
    •Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative areas to ensure sound working relationships and cooperative arrangements.
    •Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to associates.
    •Train staff on policies, procedures, systems, and regulatory requirements.
    •Monitor quality assurance measures and ensure compliance with JCAHO, HIPAA, and other standards.
    •Assists manager with staff evaluations by providing feedback on individuals the supervisor has monitored/supervised.
    •Ensure proper utilization of software and technology tools.

  • Assesses staffing patterns and schedules to optimize departmental resources and productivity. 

  • Tracks and reports quality assurance results to leadership and make recommendations for improvements. 

  • Keeps abreast of insurance company changes and updates. 

  • Delegates and assigns work commensurately with knowledge, skills, and experience, and ensure the work is performed appropriately. 

  • Empowers associates to show creativity and innovation to improve operations and develop solutions to problems. 

  • Maintain constant 24/7 supervisory access for associates as well as hospital administration by rotating call between supervisors.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $45,994.62 - $59,496.34 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 5.00%
