Summary

Responsible for ensuring efficient operations of admissions, cash handling and merchandise and concessions areas. The manager will oversee guest service operations to include: hiring, training and scheduling of staff. The manager must ensure a clean and safe facility by following all City of Garland, state and local protocols and laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Take a proactive role in ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Supervise employees to carry out job functions.

  • Assist teaching pre-season training sessions.

  • Oversee hiring, training and scheduling of facility guest service staff.

  • Conduct effective shift briefings and trainings.

  • Train and develop team to deliver excellent guest service.

  • Oversee the implementation of standards as outlined in the standard operating procedures.

  • Maintain a safe and organized work area and facility.

  • Participate in regularly scheduled trainings.

  • Oversee inventory and stock room organization.

  • Oversee party/pavilion rentals to include set up and take down of tables and chairs.
