Workshop is an internal marketing platform that helps internal comms teams create, send, and measure multi-channel campaigns. Workshop is a fast growing, venture-backed startup based in Omaha, Nebraska.

As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will:

  • Work closely with our product & design team to translate and execute product vision into scalable products.
  • Be a stakeholder in engineering and product strategy. This isn’t just another place to knock down story points and tickets, you’ll have meaningful and direct ownership in your work.
  • Have the autonomy to ship code to production regularly and frequently.
  • Develop tested, scalable core product features that are seamlessly integrated with our API driven frontend.
  • Play a key role in building and delivering major roadmap initiatives for the team.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and explore innovative product capabilities that enhance user experience and scalability

To be successful at this position, you’ll need to have:

  • A passion for building and maintaining quality user experiences on the web at scale.
  • A belief in iterative development and the importance of delivering continuous value to customers.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with browser functionality and Typescript. We use Typescript and Javascript on both the backend and frontend in certain areas of our app.
  • Experience with reactive frameworks such as Vue or React and a comprehensive understanding of browser APIs, reactivity, and browser performance.
  • Experience with JS/TS/Node-based backends that serve web requests and manage data with traditional relational databases. 
  • Experience with serverless functions such as AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Run, or Cloudflare Workers is a major plus.
