Dual study program

Do you want to help shape technology?
The dual study program combines theory and practice - you will start with an 8-week pre-study internship in which you will learn basic metalworking skills and the fundamentals of electrical engineering, welding and assembly technology. During the practical phases, you can expect exciting tasks in production control, quality assurance, materials testing, design, production engineering, product development and project management.

Duration of the education program: 3 years

Ideally, you should have:

• A-levels or university entrance qualification with good knowledge of mathematics and physics (if you have a university entrance qualification, a delta exam at the DHBW is required in advance)
• Good analytical skills, technical understanding and a high willingness to learn and motivation

Do you want to combine technology and business?
The dual study program combines theory and practice - starting with an 8-week pre-study internship in which you will learn basic metalworking skills and the fundamentals of electrical engineering, welding and assembly technology. During the practical phases, you will gain insights into production control, quality assurance and materials testing, develop business models, optimize processes and gain experience in project management and technical purchasing. Depending on your focus, you will deepen your knowledge of production planning and logistics or technical sales - and also contribute your communication skills.

Duration of the education program: 3 years

Ideally, you will have:

• A-levels or university entrance qualification with good knowledge of mathematics, physics, German and English (if you have a university entrance qualification, a delta exam at the DHBW is required in advance)
• Good analytical and communication skills, technical understanding and a high willingness to learn and motivation

Do you want to combine business management and IT?
In the dual study program, you will learn to combine business processes with modern IT. After gaining insights into the IT department and commercial processes, you will accompany system adaptations, expansions and conversions - also internationally. You will be involved in rollouts and gain experience in project management, including documentation and presentation of the results.

Duration of the education program: 3 years

Ideally, you should have:

• Abitur or Fachhochschulreife with good knowledge of mathematics, English and possibly IT/economics subjects (if you have a Fachhochschulreife, a Delta exam at the DHBW is required)
• Structured work and logical thinking

Do you want to understand how a company works?
In the dual study program, you will gain in-depth insights into all commercial areas of an industrial company - from logistics, purchasing and controlling to marketing, sales and HR. You will analyze business processes, work on optimizations and gain initial experience in project management - supplemented by independent tasks.

Duration of the education program: 3 years

Ideally, you have:

• Abitur or Fachhochschulreife with good knowledge of mathematics, German, English and, if applicable, economics (a Delta exam at the DHBW is required for FH-Reife)
• Good analytical and communication skills as well as organizational talent
