Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapy services to residents within senior living environments, which may include long-term care, assisted living, and independent living facilities.
  • Facilitate individual, group, family, and crisis intervention sessions using appropriate therapeutic modalities.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate DSM-5–based diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility personnel to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in the facility’s EMR system, utilizing appropriate ICD-10 coding.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, state, and federal regulations while upholding ethical standards of clinical practice.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
  • Active Social Work/Counseling license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or equivalent (or eligibility to obtain).
