We’re looking for a Head of Technology Strategy to join us at Telia and play a pivotal role in shaping the long‑term direction of our technology landscape.

I’m Alexandra Fürst, Head of Technology and Group CTIO, and I’m looking for a senior technology leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and enterprise‑wide transformation. This is a highly visible role at Telia—one that will influence critical decisions, guide strategic priorities, and accelerate our transition into a technology‑ and AI‑driven future.

What you’ll do:

As Head of the Technology Strategy Unit, you will lead Telia’s integrated technology strategy agenda for the Group whilst collaborating across IT, Networks, Products, Group functions, and local markets. You will build and lead a team of technology strategists to drive long-term planning, AI deployment, and exploration of emerging technologies and serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the CTIO and Executive Leadership Team.

  • Lead, develop, and execute the Integrated Technology Strategy Agenda across domains.
  • Translate technology trends into actionable strategic priorities for the Group.
  • Provide insights, recommendations, and long-term planning to the CTIO and executive leadership.
  • Lead the company-wide AI deployment agenda and identify AI-driven opportunities.
  • Partner with business units to scale AI solutions across Telia.
  • Assess and elevate emerging technologies with potential business and operational impact.
