Position Overview 

TDS is currently seeking a dependable, adaptable and skilled individual possessing hands-on experience in fieldwork. This role entails supporting a diverse array of tasks related to deployment, including but not limited to the construction of containment structures, assembly of cable tray structures, installation of low voltage cabling, rack and stack operations, and labeling.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation, testing and maintenance of low voltage cabling (Cat6, Fiber)
  • Support the setup of data center infrastructure, including racks, cable management, and device mounting
  • Perform labeling and basic troubleshooting tasks
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure deployment tasks are completed on schedule
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Execute miscellaneous physical tasks as required (e.g., moving equipment, staging gear, organizing supplies)

Qualifications: 

  • OSHA 10/30 Certification.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to follow instructions and quickly adapt in the field.
  • Scissor lift operator license is highly desirable.
  • Experience with low voltage cabling (LVC) or data center operations is advantageous.
  • Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 40lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
