This role is for someone who loves turning ideas into compelling video, especially for social media.

Where you will work

You will spend 3 days per week in our Downtown Austin office, with the remaining days for focused work. We value time together for collaboration, creativity, and learning from one another.

What you will do

Video Strategy and Planning

  • Help create video ideas to inspire, educate and entertain

  • Spot trends, formats, and opportunities for our audience

  • Build up our video equipment, sets, and process

Video Creation and Storytelling

  • Create videos that get people excited about Silktide

  • Produce everything from quick social clips to longer educational videos

  • Experiment with formats, storytelling styles, and creative approaches

Production and Editing

  • Own the full journey from idea to finished video
