What you'll do

  • Combine talking directly with customers with building solutions

  • We're looking for a former SWE/Forward Deployed Engineer who understands what it means to do something once, automate it, and never do it again

  • Migrate new customers off their old support system to Pylon

  • Within your first week, run customer migration meetings

  • Communicate directly with customers and become their main "problem-solver" as they navigate rebuilding their processes and data in Pylon

  • Become a deep product expert and guide customers to the right solution. The customer isn't always right and they often don't know what they want. It's up to you to teach them

  • Contribute to pre-sales calls as the be-all-end-all for potential solutions

  • Be an expert not only in Pylon, but also the systems we migrate from (Zendesk, Intercom, etc.)

  • Juggle many customers at once and drive them to completion.

  • Iteratively improve the migration process

Requirements

  • Located in (or will relocate to) San Francisco and excited about working in-person

  • Very organized, hard working and fast. You will be juggling many migrations at once.

  • Detail-oriented and fast learner. You'll need to become the product expert in many tools quickly.

  • An interest in tinkering with the product and suggesting improvements
