Preply’s social media is where our brand meets the world. We are looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Manager to own and grow our presence on TikTok and Snapchat.
This is a role for someone who lives and breathes these platforms. You will shape our strategy, create and appear in content, engage with our community, and turn insights into better-performing ideas. You will also collaborate closely with teams across the business to bring fresh, culturally relevant content to life.

What you’ll be doing:
Channel ownership (TikTok & Snapchat)
Own the end-to-end strategy and execution for TikTok and Snapchat, from planning and production to posting to performance tracking and continuous improvement.
Content ideation & creation
Ideate and create scroll-stopping content tailored to each platform. You will not just brief content, you will be part of making it, including recording yourself when relevant.
Content planning & execution
Build and manage content calendars, coordinate shoots, and ensure content is delivered on time and aligned with brand and channel strategy.
Community management & engagement
Actively manage and grow our communities through comments, DMs, and proactive engagement. Strong, witty, and on-brand copywriting is key.
Performance tracking & reporting
Monitor content and channel performance, extract insights, and continuously optimize based on what works.
Trend spotting & experimentation
Stay on top of platform trends, formats, and cultural moments. Bring ideas proactively and test new approaches regularly.
Collaboration & cross-functional alignment
Work closely with:
The Social Media Manager to brainstorm ideas and co-manage shoots
Employer Brand, Product, Influencer and other teams to develop content collaborations
External creators when relevant
What you need to succeed:
8+ years of experience in organic social media and community management ideally across TikTok and Snapchat, with deep platform knowledge and trend awareness.
Passionate about content creation; experience as an influencer or online creator is a strong plus.
Creative mindset with strong project management, data-driven mindset, communication skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach.
Fluent in English; Spanish, German, Italian or French is a plus.
