After hours Emergency Service is addressed through our phone system which will put any customer in need of service directly in touch with an on-call Technician. The HVAC/R Service Technician’s responsibility is to provide high-quality heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration services to commercial customers using expertise in HVAC systems and troubleshooting. 

Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Responsibilities

Installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance services for commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems

Commercial/industrial customers include restaurant equipment, convenience stores, cold storage facilities, distribution companies, and super market refrigeration

Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems to including split systems, chillers, packaged units, oil- and gas-fired boilers and control systems

Food service preparation equipment

Ability to work with tablet-based service ticket software system for all HVAC/R work performed

Perform HVAC/R preventative maintenance service for contract customers

Ability to work overtime as needed and be part of a scheduled HVAC/R on-call rotation

Minimum Qualifications 

Education/Experience

High School diploma or GED

3+ years of HVAC/R Service

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience

Commercial and residential air conditioning and gas/oil heat service experience

Commercial and/or residential HVAC replacement experience

Food service equipment experience

Understanding of control systems and wiring

EPA certification

Professional, ethical, and a team player willing to grow with the company
