Job Description: PIT Operators
Welcome to the frictionless universe of Outerspace, a new type of 3PL. Our seasoned entrepreneurial
leaders, who have built and led operations for companies like Steve Madden, Prada, and Nice Laundry,
come from the brand side. We leverage the latest technology to enable high-touch service for high-growth
brands and their daily operations. Outerspace provides dynamic services including, but not limited to,
warehousing and fulfillment, customization and light manufacturing, and product photography.

Responsibilities
● Lift, lower, and carry product to correct inventory location in a safe manner
● Maintain pick locations by cutting product open and placing in primary picking locations
● Stacking empty pallets
● Load and unload product from trucks by hand or using equipment
● Record movement of product in WMS using RF scanners
● Operate forklifts, handtrucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA and company safety policies and guidelines
● Comply with all OSHA and warehouse safety rules and guidelines
● Other duties as assigned

Requirements
● High school diploma or GED equivalent
● At least 6 months of forklift driving experience (sit down, stand up, reach trucks)
● 1-3 years in similar role preferred
● Good verbal communication skills
● Attention to detail
● Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with team
● Proficiency with computer applications, tablets, RF scanners
● Proficient organizational skills
● Demonstrated ability to operate machinery in a safe and compliant manner

Physical Requirements
● Ability to push, pull, lift up to 70 lbs
● Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop for extended periods of time
