Job Summary 

The Junior Accounting Analyst supports the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. This role assists with daily accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, invoice processing, and support during financial closing activities. The position works closely with the accounting and finance teams to ensure timely month-end closing, accurate balance sheet reconciliations, and proper documentation of financial transactions. The Junior Accounting Analyst also supports audits, tax documentation, and process improvements within the accounting function.

Responsibilities

  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and post journal entries in the ERP system.
  • Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes when required.
  • Review invoices and supporting documentation to ensure proper accounting treatment.
  • Support payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules for internal management.
