Job Description

As an NPI Planner at NTS Hengelo, you ensure that new products smoothly land in our operation. You plan and coordinate the entire chain: from prototypes and pilots to a repeatable, scalable process. You are the connecting link between project teams, supply chain, production, and customer — with visibility up to the executive level.

Furthermore, your tasks include:

  • Developing logistical realization plans for new projects (from proto → pilot → series);

  • Ensuring material readiness for critical parts, prototypes, and tools; escalating timely in case of deviations;

  • Monitoring milestones and lead times; creating scenarios and re-planning in case of changes;

  • Setting up a volume-worthy logistics process (ERP parameters, inventory policy, order & plan settings);

  • Reporting on progress, risks, and mitigations to internal and external stakeholders (including the customer);

  • Collaborating with Project Management, (Project) Procurement, Config/Logistics Engineering, Production Planning, and Quality to smoothly implement changes (ECNs);

  • Regularly being on the shop floor to verify that what is on paper is also working in practice.

Requirements

  • HBO-level of education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field;

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain or production planning within a technical or high-tech environment;

  • Practical, process-oriented approach with attention to detail and ownership;

  • Experience with ERP systems (knowledge of Infor LN is a plus);

  • Excellent Excel skills and decision-making based on data;

  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English;

  • You keep an overview, dare to speak up, and without hesitation, walk into the factory to see how things are really going.
