A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Buyer at MKS Instruments, you will partner with Engineering, Planning, Quality, Suppliers, and internal cross‑functional teams to execute procurement activities, place and manage purchase orders, and ensure continuity of supply in support of production and business requirements. In this role, you will report to the Procurement Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Executing purchase orders in accordance with approved demand, lead times, and sourcing strategies.
  • Managing supplier communications related to order confirmations, delivery commitments, and changes.
  • Monitoring open orders, past due items, and shortages, and driving timely resolution to avoid production impact.
  • Supporting supplier performance management, including on‑time delivery, responsiveness, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborating with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure alignment on material requirements and changes.
  • Maintaining accurate procurement data and documentation within ERP systems (e.g., SAP / Oracle).

Travel Requirements: Up to 10% of travel is required.
