About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance across Made’s mobile and web products. You’ll be responsible for building scalable test strategies, expanding automated coverage, and embedding QA into our development lifecycle. This role is for someone who thrives on ensuring software quality, loves digging into edge cases, and wants to establish QA best practices in a growing engineering organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Test Strategy: Define, develop, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure high-quality releases.

  • Manual & Automated Testing: Conduct rigorous testing across frontend (Flutter) and backend (Python/Postgres/DynamoDB/Redis) systems.

  • Automation: Build and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

  • API Testing: Validate backend services and integrations with tools such as Postman or RestAssured.

  • Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution in issue tracking systems.

  • Regression Testing: Perform regression testing for new releases and ensure backward compatibility.

  • CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Kubernetes/Docker/AWS).
