Job Scope

High level purpose of function.

Developing and optimizing the maintenance for the factory in terms of reliability, cost and safety.  This includes the planning and organization of activities, including definition of the equipment maintenance, creating the equipment maintenance development plan and generation of equipment specifications that deliver a capable, repeatable process in the factory.

  • Take the lead in developing and optimize maintenance programs for equipment. 
  • Train others in maintenance specific tasks.

  • Set up long term maintenance activities. 
  • Evaluation of needed spare parts of the equipment

Educational background and previous experience required for the role

Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc or MSc degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience within new product and equipment development.
  • Familiar with Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design for Manufacturability & Assembly (DFMA) and QA troubleshooting tools.
  • Successful track record of leading equipment development projects in prototype and production environment.
  • Experience with evolving products and processes from prototype through production in a fast-growing environment ideally in the Food, Pharma, Paper & Pulp, Semiconductor, Electrochemical or similar.
  • Valuable (but not required) if experience in battery industry.
