Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to delivery schedules, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive trucks, including tractor-trailers and flat beds, to transport materials to designated locations.
  • Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing forklifts as necessary.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Handle freight securely during transport to prevent damage or loss.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a strong understanding of truck driving regulations.
  • Familiarity with conestoga trailers and their operation is a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely for loading and unloading freight is preferred.
