Responsibilities

  • Own the quality of the Korean translations
  • Translates in-game text, voice scripts, marketing and PR content as required to support products and services through development, launch and beyond
  • Creates and maintains translation memories, glossaries, and style guides
  • Provides cultural and creative input regarding the localization of Larian products into the target region
  • Maintains awareness of the games industry in the target market and communicates trends to relevant stakeholders
  • Develops and builds strong relationships with relevant stakeholders in an effort to resolve questions or conflicts related to terminology, language quality and workflow
  • Playtests to confirm in-game text context for accurate translation
  • Collaborates with external localization vendors to improve the language quality
  • Requirements

  • 2 years of experience or more localizing video games
  • Strong writing and editing skills in Korean
