About the positions

We are seeking PMIS Solution Architects at various levels to lead the design and delivery of advanced Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) for large-scale, heavy-civil infrastructure programs in the highways, roads and bridges, transit (bus and rail), aviation (international airports), and/or water sectors.  

This role is client-facing, solution-oriented, and requires guiding a development team while driving innovation through the latest PMIS platforms and AI-powered technologies. Ideal candidates will take a holistic approach to integration, ensuring seamless connectivity between PMIS, enterprise systems, and project controls processes.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Define and design PMIS architecture for complex infrastructure programs.
  • Lead and mentor development teams in implementing scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.
  • Act as the primary technical advisor for clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Leverage AI-driven technologies to enhance PMIS capabilities such as predictive analytics, automated workflows, and intelligent reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for machine learning, natural language processing, and data-driven insights to improve project delivery.
  • Develop strategies for integrating PMIS with ERP, scheduling systems such as Primavera P6, financial systems, and document management platforms.
  • Ensure interoperability and data consistency across all systems.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by translating complex business needs into innovative technical solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience. 
  • 15+ years in PMIS architecture and engineering for large-scale, heavy-civil infrastructure programs in the highways, roads and bridges, transit (bus and rail), aviation (international airports), and/or water sectors. 
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles and leading technical teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of PMIS platforms such as Oracle Primavera Unifier, Kahua, and Procore.
  • Strong understanding of project controls and enterprise system integration.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in PMIS environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)    

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6 and/or Oracle Primavera Cloud, and AI-driven dashboards
  • Knowledge of government procurement and compliance frameworks.

Compensation Details 

Expected Salary: $140k-$180k/year ($67-$86/hour). Luster provides the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might offer for this position based on the successful candidate’s level of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, geographic location, etc. Luster reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range depending on circumstances not related to any status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
