Your future role at QRT 

As a Full-stack Developer at QRT, you will contribute to designing and shipping a modern web UI to monitor Researchers’ job pipelines (live status, DAG view, metrics, logs, retries), built on an existing Python library and AWS services.

 

Your present skillset 

  • Proficiency in Python; experience building APIs/web backends (FastAPI, Flask or similar)
  • Knowledge of frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript, React or a comparable SPA framework.
  • Solid understanding of HTTP/REST, JSON, and basic web security.
  • Git workflows - ability to write tests and use CI (exposure to GitLab CI is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills – you will interact directly with Traders and Researchers
  • Appetite for becoming autonomous quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Rigorous and structured mindset

 

Preferred qualifications (a plus): 

  • Data visualization (e.g., D3.js, Recharts, Plotly) and real-time UIs (WebSockets/SSE).
  • Experience with AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, CloudWatch), Docker, and containerized develpment environments.
  • Some exposure to job orchestration/queues use cases (think Celery, Airflow, Argo, Dagster) or distributed systems.
  • Basic UX design chops and component libraries (MUI, Chakra, Tailwind).
