The Services Parts/Tooling EHS Lead is the primary EHS interface for GE Vernova’s Parts/Tooling and Engineering Lab sites, ensuring effective implementation of EHS programs and regulatory compliance in daily operations.
The position partners with Services Parts/Tooling site Leads and the Business EHS management team, reporting to the Wind Fixed Facilities EHS Leader, to align remanufacturing sites/warehouse/tooling centers/training centers and engineering labs with global EHS strategies and standards.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Individuals located at manufacturing sites and fixed facilities (e.g., a service shop or O&M site) that provide day-to-day EHS support for that facility.
  • Act as the main EHS point of contact for Parts group which includes Parts, Tooling, Training (PTT) as well as the Engineering Labs, providing day‑to‑day support to plant leadership and local EHS/site teams.
  • Implement GE Vernova EHS programs (including Gensuite (EHS digital performance tool), Framework and Life Saving Rules) within operations and ensure integration into daily work practices.
  • Monitor EHS performance (leading indicators, incident rates, PSEs, audit findings, action closure) and drive corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with site teams.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to GE Vernova EHS standards across Parts and Engineering Labs; support regulatory inspections, customer audits, and internal assessments.
  • Provide on‑site support for incident response and investigations, root cause analysis, genba walks/daily management, coordinate lessons learned and risk‑reduction actions across Parts and Engineering Labs operations.
  • Engage in shop‑floor activities and apply Lean problem‑solving and digital tools to eliminate or reduce risks and improve EHS processes.
  • Support Management of Change (MOC), product/chemical introductions and inventory, and facility changes within Parts operations, ensuring EHS requirements are addressed early and aligned with global EHS standards.
  • Manage the sustainability aspect for the parts/tooling team, permitting and waste reporting, etc. as well as any PFAs or other sustainability reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the Wind Fixed Facilities EHS Leader and other Wind EHS leaders to ensure consistent execution of global initiatives and effective best‑practice sharing.
  • On behalf of Wind Fixed Facility Team to
    • Manage and document the EHS event initial notification, RCA, EHS Alert and EHS Read Across for Wind Fixed Facility team.
    • Mange ISO14001 / ISO45001 certificate and FM for Wind Fixed Facility team.
    • Collaborate with EPR/CBRE team for fixed facilities’ transaction topic

Required Qualifications

  • Significant experience executing EHS programs in an industrial and/or warehouse/tooling environment
  • Proven experience leading EHS implementation at plant or operations level, including incident investigation, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable EHS regulations and ability to translate them into practical plant‑level actions
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and collaborating across functions and locations
  • Fluency in English, with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strong presence on the shop floor; able to coach and influence leaders and operators
  • Demonstrated ability to drive EHS culture and continuous improvement using Lean methodologies
  • Able and willing to travel 30%+ including international travels and comply with GE Vernova (GEV) travel and tax guidelines
