The Sales Director leads the U.S. direct field sales teams, focusing on driving revenue growth through new logo acquisition. Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.):

  • Day-to-day execution of Fusion Connect company and sales strategy.
  • Maintain defined headcount targets and ensure team operates within budget.
  • Build and coach teams who meet or exceed defined revenue, activity and pipeline targets through identifying and prospecting mid-market and enterprise companies.
  • Inspect and validate all paperwork submitted is accurate and complies with Fusion Connect policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all revenue is reported accurately and responsibly as defined by Fusion Connect policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting as defined by sales leadership.
  • Coach and ensure teams adopt all tools as defined by sales leadership including SFDC.
  • Build and coach teams who understand and follow Fusion Connect sales methodology including uncovering and assessing client needs in order to strategically tailor custom solutions through consultative selling.
  • Drive team to hit Fusion Connect referral partnership program targets and provide leadership sponsorship by building direct relationships with participants.
  • Drive team pipeline in order to sell defined mix of Fusion Connect product portfolio while complying with all products, pricing and business rules.
  • Enforce team collaboration as required by business rules such as Sales Engineering.
  • Ensure team adherence to all customer account ownership policies.
  • Inspect and lead team efforts to renew and upsell assigned customer accounts.
  • Facilitate regular (as defined by leadership) large deal review.
  • Staff and coach Business Development Reps to attain all Fusion defined targets.
  • Review commission to ensure accuracy (submit disputes when necessary).
  • Understand and be able to explain to existing staff as well as potential new hires the Fusion Connect commission plan.
  • Create cadence of communication to prompt team to provide competitive analysis/feedback when available.
  • Collaborate with sales training and enablement to ensure learning program is in place and milestones are being met.
  • Attend all training and meetings as required and obtain all mandated certifications.
  • Adhere to all Fusion Connect core competencies, policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful culture and conduct all sales activities with the highest regard for integrity and honest behavior.
