Through our operating model for digital business transformation, we are connected with key players from IT and business on a daily basis. In addition, we promote exchange in the IT & Digital division through a variety of formats - from joint lunches with randomly selected colleagues to quarterly IT talks and international IT summits. This allows us to create encounters, share knowledge, and remain connected as a team - regardless of where we work.

We support around 800 applications, including SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Workday, and Salesforce. This enables us to create a modern, networked, and scalable system environment that promotes innovation and collaboration.

What topics are we currently working on, for example?

For the entire value chain, digitalization means greater traceability, depth of information, and transparency. At ElringKlinger, we use integrated software systems such as SAP Digital Manufacturing and Extended Warehouse Management so that we can, for example, exchange information with customers about the status of our products and their traceability even before the production phase is complete. This enables our customers in the OE segment to create a digital twin of the entire vehicle at virtually the same time.

What methods do we use?

In our digitalization projects, we use a mix of classic project management methods such as ITIL and Prince2 and, increasingly, agile methods such as SCRUM. This allows us to combine clear structures with flexibility and create space for joint design and further development. It is also crucial that our employees are empowered to work in a digital world.
