Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Help architect the future platform Elligint Health will run on, design and execute its implementation.
  • Develop and maintain IaC code to create production, test, stage and dev environments in our cloud environment.
  • Monitor, Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise.
  • Update Configuration management code to maintain consistency across our accounts.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate routine operations, testing, deployments and other tasks.
  • Craft dashboards, monitors and alerts to keep our platform running smoothly and enable quick triage of incidents.
  • Help automate manual tasks to make our team, the QA team, the development team, and our company in general, more efficient.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience supporting a customer facing SaaS platform
  • Deep understanding of DevOps best practices, patterns and anti-patterns, with a mindset towards security
  • Experience running and maintaining production environments in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Git, at least one IaC tool, configuration management systems, modern monitoring, logging and alerting platforms
  • Ability to write code in and debug at least one common programming language
  • Familiarity running containerized micro-services and building docker containers
  • Strong experience with Linux
  • Someone that can work independently on a small team in a startup-like environment
  • Bonus for experience with FedRamp, MySQL, PHP, AWS, Ansible, Terraform and Groovy
