JOB SUMMARY: Denver Broncos Cheerleaders will perform cheerleading, dance, and other sideline entertainment activities for Broncos games. They will represent the Denver Broncos at games, charitable appearances, and sponsor events as brand ambassadors. Denver Broncos Cheerleaders will support and instruct specialized cheer-oriented programs including High School Choreography Camp and the Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders (JDBC), among others.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participates in rehearsals/training by:
    • Attending rehearsals 2-3 times per week for 3-4 hours
    • Learning dances, practicing material, preparing for game day and appearance performances, training for events, public speaking, modeling skills, social media training, team policies, and PR training
  • Makes outside appearances and attends special events at local charities, schools, sponsor events, businesses, etc. by:
    • Acting in the capacity of Cheerleader and brand ambassador of the Denver Broncos
    • Signing autographs, posing for pictures, participating in cheerleading camps, and performing
    • Posing for headshots, photo cards, and any other promotional material
  • Participates at all home games (preseason/regular season/playoffs) by:
    • Attending pregame events for sponsor appearances
    • Performing as part of the sideline entertainment in the cheerleading/dance capacity in game
  • Provides instruction and support for the Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders (JDBC) program by:
    • Developing meaningful relationships with youth through dance and cheer instruction
    • Leading children in clinic activities and performing with youth at community performances and other events
  • Represents as a brand ambassador on Social Media by:
    • Managing individual DBC social media accounts
    • Working with Cheer Social Marketing & Events Coordinator to ideate, curate, and post relevant and on-brand social media content

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10 + years of extensive experience in multiple forms of dance, i.e., ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip-hop
  • Ability to quickly learn choreographed routines as part of the audition process and game day performances
  • Willing and able to learn social media skills and appropriately manage individual DBC social media accounts
  • Football knowledge
  • Eagerness to teach and mentor children in JDBC programs
  • Ability to keep confidential information about DBC and the organization in general
  • Highly motivated, strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be energetic, responsible, and extremely comfortable in a highly visible position as a brand ambassador

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITY:

  • B.A or B.S Degree (or working towards)
