Specifically, what you will do.

Career Team is seeking a strong Software Team Lead who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries. This is a technical leadership role responsible for mentoring and training others, as well as guiding design and architecture decisions. You will build amazing things using MongoDB, Nest.js, Next.js, and Node.js and/or PHP/MySql. On any given day, you’ll be coding (writing, reviewing, deploying, testing); this is our bread and butter and our passion. You can expect to be part of regular Scrum Ceremonies—though each team may have its own flavor—and you will have ample opportunity to innovate and make a real impact on our software. This role will expand over time and is a great way to help accelerate your career!

Please note, this is a highly technical role and also requires excellence in all aspects of software engineering. Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering;
  • 5+ years of experience developing with JavaScript stack or equivalent;
  • Working experience with PHP is a strong plus; 
  • 5 - 10  years of core web apps development experience (front end & back-end);
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, effective collaboration & communication skills;
  • Exposure to VSCode, Postman, Jira, GitHub, Terraform, Jenkins, and Docker;
  • Exposure to building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale;
