About the Job

The role of the Harvest Technician executes the harvest, bucking processes, room cleaning and defoliation/canopy management Ensures compliance with company procedures and product specifications.

 

What You Will Do

  • Executes plant bucking and harvesting processes.
  • Removes branches, leaves from living plants to provide an optimal leaf environment.
  • Cleans flower rooms post harvest for replanting. 
  • Clone transplanting and plant movement throughout the facility as needed.
  • Helps with trimming and packaging as needed.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work areas.
  • Works productively to achieve daily and weekly goals.
  • Expected to display teamwork, mutual respect, open communication within the team and across functions.
  • Adheres to SOP’s.
  • Adhere to KPI metrics to ensure timely material flow to ensure supply for the processing team.
  •  Maintain quality standards and conduct periodic QC checks of WIP material.

  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced indoor farm environment under high intensity lighting and warm/humid conditions.

Compensation Description (annually): The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.00.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. 

 

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position involves sitting, walking and lifting less than 10 pounds for long periods of time throughout the day. Working in warm/humid environments with high intensity lighting. Able to bend for many of the work tasks, and stand on and climb ladders. Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally without assistance. Comfortable working with scissors and or pruning shears.The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Requires normal hearing range
