Role Overview

As our Technical Recruiter at Capi, you will play a critical role in scaling our Engineering and Product teams during a period of accelerated growth. You will own full-cycle technical hiring across multiple roles and geographies, partnering closely with Engineering leadership and the Talent team to hit ambitious hiring targets and KPIs. You'll help shape our technical hiring strategy, build relationships with candidates, and ensure a high-quality candidate and hiring-team experience throughout the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute technical recruitment strategies to build strong candidate pipelines

  • Own full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles, from sourcing to offer stage and onboarding

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and create compelling job descriptions and candidate pitches

  • Source candidates through multiple channels including direct outreach, referrals, and tech recruitment platforms

  • Work with external partners as needed; you will own and manage these partnerships directly and should be well-versed in standard recruitment partner SLAs

  • Screen technical candidates effectively and manage the interview process end to end

  • Be our internal driver for Capi’s tech network, including tech recruitment, technical networking events, groups, and communities - you should be in the know with what is going on in the technical space

  • Maintain and grow an excellent technical candidate network - ABR! - always be recruiting!

  • Track and analyse recruitment metrics to optimise hiring processes; propose improvement and process changes

  • Help develop and improve our technical assessment processes; including retros of processes where improvements can be made

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of technical recruitment experience; preferably with 2+ years in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment, or equivalent agency experience (ideally agency followed by in-house)

  • Proven track record of successfully hiring engineers and technical roles at scale

  • Strong understanding of technical roles, skills, and market trends

  • Experience with modern recruitment tools and platforms (ideally Ashby, Welcome to the Jungle, Juicebox/Ppl GPT, Github, Cord, etc).

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Open to travel to our other offices to spend time on the ground with teams

  • Fluent in English and French
