CF Industries is seeking a Risk Analyst to support the management and marketing of our global insurance programs and enterprise risk initiatives. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with corporate insurance and risk strategy, working directly with brokers, insurance carriers, and internal business leaders.

Job Description:

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for designing, marketing, and executing CF’s insurance programs, while building strong relationships across the enterprise and the insurance market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting annual insurance renewals and marketing efforts, including gathering exposure data, loss information, and underwriting materials

  • Working closely with brokers and insurance carriers, helping coordinate submissions, presentations, and follow‑up questions

  • Assisting with insurance program analysis, including coverage comparisons, scenario testing, and identification of potential gaps

  • Helping manage ongoing insurer relationships through data updates, stewardship reporting, and post‑renewal support

  • Supporting enterprise risk assessments and monitoring key operational and financial risk exposures

  • Acting as a point of contact for internal stakeholders on claims reporting procedures and insurance-related questions

  • Developing and maintaining insurance and risk dashboards used by leadership and business partners

As your experience grows, you’ll take on more ownership of specific insurance programs, renewal workstreams, and stakeholder relationships.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is motivated to learn, comfortable working with data, and interested in the business side of insurance.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Engineering, Science, Finance, Business, or a related field

  • 0–3 years of relevant experience (including internships, co‑ops, or rotational programs)

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate clearly with both internal teams and external partners

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience in a front-line role within a manufacturing organization (such as sales, transportation, distribution, or operations) OR

  • Coursework or experience in commercial insurance, risk management, or underwriting

  • Interest in broker‑carrier dynamics, insurance marketing, and relationship management

  • Experience analyzing trends, losses, or operational data

The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $62,400 - $99,600

The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
