We are looking for Technical Leader

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Leader who will take ownership of the development of our browser-based system to manage company's application portfolio while remaining actively involved into day-to-day backend and frontend development. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys end-to-end design, practical implementation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that our product is scalable, maintainable, and delivers an exceptional user experience.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and QA teams, providing technical leadership, validating design decisions, and ensuring alignment between long-term architecture and short-term delivery needs. And will work on new and existing projects leveraging Angular framework, with Java, Kotlin and Spring at the backend. The backbone of our frontend applications is a set of reusable UI components.

Main areas of responsibilities:

  • Establish technical standards, coding practices, and architecture principles for the team.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance to developers to ensure high engineering quality.
  • Work on both frontend (Angular) and backend (Java, Kotlin) development.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into interactive web experiences.
  • Work closely with product manager to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and architectural sessions.
  • Support production readiness, monitoring and optimization.
  • Identify and manage technical debt, balance long-term quality and delivery timelines.
  • Manage development team as people manager

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the similar position and related tools.

  • Angular and knowledge and practice, proficiency in backend technologies such as Java, Kotlin and Spring Framework.

  • Experience in leading and managing development teams

  • Collaboration mindset, strong technical problem solving and debugging skills, ability to work independently.

  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and containerization.

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).

  • Very good communication and collaboration skills. Strong ownership mentality. Proactive problem-solving.

  • Background in mentoring or leading small teams.
