Summary

We are currently searching for a Bid and Tenders Specialist based in Madrid (hybrid role). The role will combine bid and tenders management, direct offers, process optimization and stakeholder leadership.

What you will be doing

  • Identify new tenders and communication with involved partners when potential new opportunities are identified: Marketing Manager, Account Manager/Regional Sales Manager/Country Leader.
  • Submit and follow the tender proposal to public administration/procurement regulators according to commercial team and legal requirements.
  • Perform Tender and Contractual Risk Assessment and provide advice on obligations and dispute‐resolution strategies.
  • Participate in the implementation of the Direct Offers Management project working closely with multi-functional teams to prepare and submit offers to customers.
  • Review and update direct offers related documents and information to resolve the discrepancies, and issue new offers to the customer when required.
  • Support staff from across Baxter on all public contracts, extensions, and terminations.
  • Coordinate, review and record all documentation required, ensuring the accurate maintenance of the contract database.
  • Assess positive and negative tenders results in collaboration with Legal, Operations and Sales in order to design and implement continuous improvement initiatives and strategies for bidding workflows, templates and knowledge management.
  • Keep up to date on legislative changes applicable to public tenders.
